After Laughter

Updated: Mar 16, 2021

I can remember prank calls were common when I was growing up. You never knew when someone would call and ask if your refrigerator was running, and if you said yes, you were instructed to go and catch it! Or, you may be asked if you had Prince Albert in a can, and if you said yes, you were told you needed to let him out. I have to confess being on both sides of calling and answering these types of calls and laughed either way. Having laughter in your life is fun and actually offers great health benefits. Research shows us laughter:

1. Decreases our stress level.

2. Provides more oxygen to our bodies.

3. Helps release our feel good endorphins.

4. Improves our overall mood.

5. Improves our social connections.

Think of someone you can share a laugh with today! All you need to do is start with your favorite knock knock joke, corny joke or pun. Here are a few examples to get you started:

Why did the mushroom go to the party? Because he was a fungi. Why did the photo go to jail? Because it was framed.

Share a laugh today!

Then our mouth was filled with laughter and our tongue with joyful shouting..Psalm 126:2
